1. Our Commitment to Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We use the same protections for information you share with us online as we do for information you provide in other ways.

How We Use Cookies: Our website uses cookies to recognize you on return visits and enhance your experience. Cookies are not used to collect sensitive personal information, and you can control your cookie settings in your browser.

Do Not Track: We do not respond to “do not track” browser signals at this time.

What We Do Not Collect: This site is intended for adults 18 years and older. We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13, and any accounts or services created with false age information violate our terms of service. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive identifiers through our website forms. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Device Information: Browser type, device type, IP address, operating system, unique device identifier, software version, domain name from which you accessed our site
  • Usage Data: Date and time of site visits, pages visited, time spent on page, click-stream data, referring site URL

Information from Third Parties:

We Do Not Sell Your Information. The Companies do not sell customer lists or individual customer information.

Security Program. Loan Science’s Legal Department oversees an information security program that regularly tests, monitors, and upgrades our safeguards. All personnel receive training on handling personal information appropriately.

Incident Response. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will investigate the incident and notify affected individuals and relevant regulators as required by law.

Cookies. We use cookies to enhance your experience and recognize you on return visits. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive information.

Periodic Review. Loan Science periodically reviews this Policy and our publicly posted website privacy policy to ensure they accurately describe our data practices and comply with applicable laws. We prepare an internal verification statement on a periodic basis to assess ongoing compliance.

Employee Training. Loan Science personnel receive training on how to appropriately handle and protect personal information consistent with this Policy.

Right to Access. You have the right to:

Sensitive Data. Loan Science does not intentionally collect sensitive data (such as medical/health information, racial or ethnic origin, political/religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or union membership) from customers through our website. If sensitive data is provided, it will be protected with the highest levels of security.

18. Defined Terms

“Customer” means an individual customer or client of Loan Science.

“Personal Data” or “Personally Identifiable Information” means data that personally identifies or may be used to personally identify a person, including an individual’s name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, password, and identification numbers, including such data in combination with marital status, emergency contact, salary information, terms of employment, or job qualifications. Personal Data does not include de-identified, anonymous, or publicly available data.

“Sensitive Data” means personally identifiable information that discloses a person’s medical or health condition, race or ethnicity, political, religious or philosophical affiliations or opinions, sexual orientation, or trade union membership.

“Service Provider” means a vendor, contractor, or agent engaged by Loan Science to perform services on our behalf and under our direction, subject to contractual obligations to protect personal information.

“Third Party” means any individual or entity that is neither Loan Science nor a Loan Science employee, agent, contractor, or representative.
